Multi-Camera Live Production at the Cotswolds Distillery Sessions

Our second real-world test took place at the Cotswolds Distillery Sessions, where a special junior showcase brought together a number of talented local performers. We were delighted to record the event and provide participants with a lasting record of their performances.

This event also gave us the opportunity to test new production capabilities introduced in the latest version of Livener. One of the most significant improvements was the ability to manage audio and video sources independently during a live production.

To capture the event, we connected the output of the venue’s PA system to one of our mobile cameras, while a second audio source captured the atmosphere of the room using an external microphone connected to another device. These sources were combined with two static stage cameras and a third handheld camera that followed the performers and captured additional angles throughout the show.

The result was a richer and more dynamic production that better reflected the experience of being present in the room.

The session provided valuable feedback on workflow, audio management, and multi-camera operation in a live performance setting. It also demonstrated how professional-quality productions can be created using everyday devices and cloud-based production tools.
